departure times into account.

Wey Chieftain is located in the
inner harbour opposite the Council Offices.
Depending on tides and
bridge lifts Wey Chieftain loads here or opposite the Old Rooms Public House
in Trinity Street.
Check with Grahame prior to your arrival.
Is there a toilet onboard?
Yes.
How many divers can the boat carry?
Wey Chieftain is licensed to carry ten passengers and two crew.
Are there First Aid facilities and O2 aboard?
Yes, there are and the skipper is suitably qualified.
Do we have to pay more if we want to go further offshore?
Wey Chieftain will travel up to twenty miles from her home port
within the standard charter price. After this a surcharge applies
based on the current market prices.
Can we leave dive gear on the boat overnight?
Yes, you can and we can lock it securely inside the boat. However
my insurance does not cover any loss so the risk is yours. Check
your own insurance!
Can we dive any time of day?
Generally the answer is no unless we are inshore on shallow
wrecks or drift diving. Most of the wrecks require slack water and
the skipper will arrange departure times to suit. Pleases make sure
you allow sufficient time to park your vehicle and load the boat,
being late could spoil everyone’s day.

No we don’t. You need to bring all your own SCUBA gear.
Do you hire equipment?

Do you arrange accommodation?
No But have a look at the following links, something to suit all

Stop by the boat on the quay to unload and the skipper will
direct you.

Only hot drinks FOC However there is a general store next to the
boat that does rolls, pies, sandwiches, drinks, etc.
